Today was my first workout in nearly 3 weeks. Yesterday I ran 3 miles of intervals and it was tough, but that doesn’t really qualify as a workout.
I’ve been very busy training clients, keeping up with my two daughters and their after school activities, blah, blah, blah. It’s all just the same old BS excuses everyone else has for why they don’t workout. “I just don’t have the time”. Screw that! If it’s important to you, you’ll make time.
That’s got to be the bottom line. For those that use a lack of time as an excuse for not working out or exercising at all, it’s nothing more than the fact that it’s not a priority.
No real surprise though. Chances are these are the same folks that are overweight and killing themselves to find every shortcut they can to shed the pounds. All the fad diets, the diet pills and potions like “Sensa”. One thing after another only to fail every time. Yes, if these folks had a priority on working out it’s very likely (not certain) that they wouldn’t be overweight to begin with
Regardless, this isn’t a rant. It’s just me saying to the world “I’M BACK!” Yes, my workout was tough and it hurt my feelings to see how much I’ve lost in the fitness area. But I made it through. I’m sitting here several hours later feeling like my whole body is just smoked. That’s a good feeling.
It’s 11:20pm and I know I’m gonna sleep well tonight. That’s all for now. Till next time —>> Train Hard!
